Previously, my graphics card failed, so I replaced it with a new one. I also upgraded the power supply and cables, but the issue persisted. Eventually, I built a new computer and installed the drivers. Despite those changes, the problem returned. I switched monitors and still faced the same issue. I searched online but couldn't find any solutions. Could anyone help me understand what might be going on?
This occurs with everyone—it usually happens when the GPU driver is loading all your custom settings. If it only resets after a full system reset, it might point to a driver or BIOS problem. It seems to happen only during startup, so more details could help clarify the issue.
The main concern is why you’d choose the 14th generation Intel. If both your PC and monitor remain affected, it might relate to power issues—perhaps the monitor’s power cable is damaged or the household electricity is unstable. Or as someone mentioned, it could be a normal occurrence, but I haven’t experienced this with my own monitors or at school.
I was just using the PC without doing anything, and it shut off and then turned back on, even while playing games. I updated all the drivers, GPU, BIOS, but it still worked. It also handled what happened on my old computer.
Connect the HDMI or display port to the motherboard instead of the GPU. It should start immediately. Search for "flash GPU BIOS" to follow the steps on your GPU manufacturer's site.
It functions properly most of the time, but occasionally it shuts off completely and then restarts as if nothing occurred.
