Dell XPS 15 9520 is linked to two external monitors—one 32" 4K Samsung via USB-C and another 24" 1920x1200 connected through DVI to an HDMI port on a Dell XPS dongle. Recently, after a Windows update (possibly firmware update), I received a message saying "Display 2 Isn't Active" on my main monitor. The second monitor worked fine. I resolved it by downloading the correct driver from Intel’s site and restarting the laptop. I used the link provided: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ndows.html. My system runs Intel i7-12700 and NVIDIA 3050, which matches the driver I downloaded. Have you already tried updating the driver again on this site? Is this issue specific to Dell laptops or also affecting other brands? Also, did a recent Dell firmware update trigger this problem?

From the Windows search bar, look for the Intel® Graphics Command Center. Double-click its icon. Select Display. Within the Connected Displays window, tap the three-dot menu for your chosen screen. Tap Enable. This resolved the issue with my Matebook 14.
