You're experiencing issues with your display driver crashing games. You've tried updating from AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series to Omega (14.12), but it still needs a restart and doesn't update properly. It seems the driver isn't responding or updating correctly. Since you're new to forums, feel free to share more details there. If you need help, I'm here to assist!
Your AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series is the graphics card. Updating the driver (Omega 14.12) won’t magically alter it permanently; it will remain listed as such until you modify it in your system settings. Consider doing a bit more research before sharing this here.
We don't support using Skype as a workaround. You can view the post here. As @evilarceus mentioned, the 5700 Series is your physical GPU. Updating the Driver won't alter this. You'll need to purchase a new GPU if you want it to change.
The main focus here is to assist beginners and those less familiar with technology, avoiding any judgments about their abilities. Sometimes people might feel this way, but you're welcome to ask questions. Many members help with PM or TS support. @ Ckdnoah, please ensure you're using the latest driver or available beta version for your GPU. If it continues to crash, try an older version. Generally, updating GPU drivers is only necessary if newer games are underperforming or you're encountering persistent issues.
