Windows 11 pro AMD RX 6700 XT 10700K began functioning only after the update to version 22H2, often occurring unpredictably especially during idle periods.

Inspect your display cable. Verify your GPU drivers.

I refreshed my AMD drivers to the newest release. For the display cable, I didn’t connect it after the upgrade; it functioned properly before and remains so now.

Restart the installation process by removing all graphics drivers with DDU, then reinstall them.

I used Windows 11 for a year on the same machine and only experienced issues during the 22h2 update. It seems the BIOS update is necessary, even though the SFC scan found no problems.

I installed the newest AMD drivers and reviewed the factory reset suggestion from the AMD Installer. Is it sufficient, or should I still consider a DDU?

I'd stick with DDU to guarantee all drivers are cleared. The factory reset feature in AMD's driver suite isn't clear—I need to understand its purpose before using it.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot. It seems to occur only when the PC is idle for 4 or 5 minutes without any activity.

It happens to me as well after switching to Windows 10. I never really grasped what was going on. It seems to occur a few times daily, not just during gaming sessions.
