I'm facing issues with my laptop's NVIDIA graphics setup. The driver seems installed, but smooth scrolling works in the browser yet frame drops occur during browsing, YouTube videos, and even when right-clicking on the desktop. This happens while scrolling or playing videos. I'm using Linux Mint Cinnamon and need help identifying and fixing the problem.

No, I haven't installed the nVidia driver or turned on GPU acceleration in your browser.

I activated the NVIDIA driver and turned on GPU acceleration within the browser.
