Show problems following the Windows 10 1803 update.
Right after finishing my Ryzen 5 2400G setup, I added Windows 10 1503. Normally the update scanner looked for newer versions and began installing to 1803, after which it upgraded to 1703 (I don’t recall the exact number). During the restart after the update, the screen split into two parts, and the second section displayed a distorted image (I’ve attached photos). I don’t have a dedicated GPU yet and am still using the built-in one. While updating through settings, an error appeared, so I used the Windows Update Assistant to fix it. Thanks in advance.
Changing Windows 10 to a newer version poses serious risks, and these problems often arise during upgrades from older to newer Windows 10 releases. It’s usually safer to install the most recent Windows 10 version available and then turn off automatic updates entirely. Otherwise, these issues will likely affect your system eventually, given the current lack of strong quality assurance from Microsoft.
