Hello, I noticed your laptop screen isn't working properly now that you're using an external display. It might be a display problem or a faulty ribbon cable. 20221230_142054.mp4

It seems a bit off, though—if your laptop functions well with an external screen, the issue might be with the display or its connection.

I swapped out the cable, yet nothing improved. The screen flickers again—should I have checked the motherboard first from a technician's side?

I suggest considering the warranty when using that machine. If the cable is decent, the issue might actually be with the panel itself—something typically covered under warranty if you still have it. Locate replacement display parts occasionally, as this can be tricky and depends on your laptop model and technical skills. Of course, outside warranty coverage means you're responsible for the decision.

It's an Asus FX570UD with no warranty included.
