I've never seen Windows assume a monitor existed when it didn't. That's intriguing. It seems DP passthrough or PIP might be creating the illusion, but this display doesn't allow them to work. You could likely choose the ghost monitor and tell it not to show on that one, but I'm curious about what Windows believed it was. Would 11 still have Advanced Display Settings showing anything?
The screen didn’t recognize its display type, showed a blank 0x0 image, and reported a 60Hz refresh rate. When you attempted to adjust the refresh rate via the dropdown, it unexpectedly reset to 0Hz.
