You're experiencing issues with your laptop such as screen cut-off, white lines, and video glitches after a recent repair. It seems the problem might be linked to the water spill incident. Will the symptoms worsen? Consider returning it for further repair.

Before proceeding, revisit the repair location since recent issues might stem from an earlier mistake or delayed effects. Consider key questions after inspecting it again. Once you receive the cost estimate, factor in existing expenses—will it truly be worthwhile? Now that I have a functional machine, all I need is a monitor; I’m thrilled to own a compact desktop! If a second laptop is necessary, I’d prefer keeping the current one for its advantages and only upgrade if the new one offers better value. Or perhaps repurpose the old one into a server or NAS? Ultimately, the decision hinges on its worth—if it’s over five years old and requires a replacement screen, it’s probably time to move on. I hope this gives you some ideas. Good luck with your choice, and may your new setup serve you well!
