I recently assembled my initial PC featuring an RX 7800 XT. Under specific conditions the graphics card dims even though the signal continues, which means the monitor remains active but fails to respond. Restarting resolves the issue. This behavior occurs only during certain workloads, not all times. I've experimented with various DP connections, repositioning the GPU, updating drivers, removing and reinstalling drivers (using DDU), and more. The system is stock, with no overclocking applied. Updated: it appears to trigger only when the load isn't in fullscreen. Edited November 11, 2023 by EZBakeNShake

It seems like there might be a problem with the driver. I’m not sure what else we can do besides attempting to DDU. You might want to reach out to the warranty department.

I didn't consider it significant. Lian Li SP850 PSU, Team Group T-Force Delta RGB RAM at 4800MHz, and Intel Core i7 13700K.

I faced the same issue a few years back, resolved it by sending in a return request for my GPU, which really helped. Keep this in mind for yourself—your GPU could also be experiencing problems.

Fortunately, my Intel processor includes an integrated graphics unit, allowing me to function without it temporarily.
