Hi everyone,
I'm seeking a simple method to import or show the feed from another machine via VGA output on my laptop.
How can I effectively manage the VGA signal into the laptop?
Is there a VGA to USB converter available since the reverse connection is common?

Well, VGA is an analog video signal while USB uses a digital one. Therefore, a converter is necessary for this purpose. I found one such converter on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Adapter-Multi-Dis...B07RTB9W14. Keep in mind it needs driver installation and based on customer feedback, it may work well, have problems, or not function at all. I can't guarantee its performance for you.

Connecting remotely from one laptop to another, possibly a Windows PC, using remote desktop technology.

I don't think, you understood, what OP wants.
There's a device (probably a pc) with VGA output and
he wants to see that video feed on laptop.
USB to VGA adapter just allows connecting another monitor to the laptop.

A similar component with a converter chip is what you're looking for.

What will this item accomplish? Laptops typically lack HDMI outputs, so you cannot transmit an HDMI signal into them.

PCs lack video input ports and only provide output ports. An input port requires a capture card, whether internal or external.
