Many videos showcase "Best $500 Gaming build" or "Great $800 Gaming PC." With Windows 8.1's cost, shouldn't it be factored into the build price? It's clear Windows performs best for gaming (or at least on OS X). I believe it's reasonable for the community to agree to add an extra $100 to the build estimate. Is this your perspective too?

We should also consider adding the office cost and perhaps a few game expenses, since those are costs everyone will face eventually. I’ve come to a mutual understanding that these are just additional items to purchase, similar to peripherals or power cords.

Currently there are many options for gaming on Linux. Also, most college and university students can use Windows without paying extra.

It seems you're discussing a $20 post on Reddit and wondering about the process. You also mention finding something affordable on G2A.

You're right, Windows plays a crucial role when an office environment relies on users. The operating system is essential for a PC to function properly.

In many situations, you don’t have to spend money. As I mentioned, I received a few window keys for free and am using them, and some others might be able to too. They could also repurpose previous keys or use similar ones.
