I was facing permission issues with %appdata% and my files were being restricted. Access to other folders slowed down, and Windows Defender flagged a suspicious backdoor named Fynloski. I considered using Malwarebytes but noticed more backdoors appeared afterward. Since no programs were installed today, I’m unsure whether to run Malwarebytes or format the drive.

You may already be infected; try ComboFix to either fix it or safely format before further damage occurs. *Note: Only reinstalling Windows and preserving essential files is recommended due to the unclear origin of infections. This could render a full reinstall ineffective afterward. For critical data, consider using pen drives and scanning them with antivirus on another machine as soon as you connect. Full Windows reinstallation is suggested, though this is just my perspective.*

Everything appears to be restored. Malware Bytes and Windows Defender handled the issue well. Would you still want to reinstall Windows?

It seems the device was compromised all at once.
