My setup includes a Corsair CV450 PSU, a Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and a GTX 1650 GPU. I’m considering switching to an Intel Arc B580 GPU but am unsure if it’s best to upgrade the GPU immediately or wait for a new PSU. Should I proceed with the GPU change and use temporary undervolting for stability, or should I focus on getting a new PSU first?

Consider upgrading the power supply. Your current one may be outdated and could fail soon. Avoid using the latest GPU unless necessary.

Don't rely on undervolting. The GPU might not require much power if you're not currently running AAA games, but the main concern is whether your PSU is outdated. Since PS units are generally reliable in the 600W range, you could save up for the GPU by waiting to purchase a B580 when it becomes available.

This power supply is not just outdated, it's also of poor quality. I would definitely consider replacing it.
