Hi everyone,

I’m curious about whether it would be beneficial to upgrade my computer or if the change wouldn't make much difference.

Currently I have:
i3-4170
gtx 750ti overclocked
8gb of RAM

I’m considering:
i3-8100
gtx 1050ti
8gb of RAM

Or should I stick with my existing i3-4170 and then upgrade to the gtx 1050ti later?

I'd appreciate your opinions!
Thanks!

Or simply stick with an i3-4170 and then upgrade to a GTX 1050ti?

That’s what I'd recommend.

I believe the i3 can manage the 1050 Ti for the most part.

Give it a try. You can always improve the CPU later.

Whether you require an upgraded processor or simply a more powerful graphics card hinges on your specific requirements.

I was simply trying to play Dota 2, and I desired a sharper image quality. Would getting a 1050ti card improve this?

I typically game Dota 2 on maximum settings, achieving frame rates of 80 to 90.
