It's tough to give a clear answer because you still have solid parts that work well in 1080p. Hyperthreading offers some benefit but isn't a huge factor. For games, a solid clock speed and at least six cores are key. The Vega 56 isn't terrible. If you really need to pick now, I recommend the 3060ti, 3070 or RX6800. However, with this upgrade, your monitor should be upgraded too—ideally at least 1440p at 144hz.
The CPU would offer only a slight improvement, the GPUs aren't available unless you're ready for premium pricing, so my suggestion? Hold off until it settles.
I've heard some discussions about Detroit Become Human and its performance with multithreading. That's why I upgraded my CPU here in Brazil—I can easily find new GPUs, though their prices seem high. I'm not optimistic about prices dropping soon. I plan to get a GPU that performs well at 1080p, and even if it supports 1440p later, it should still handle high settings nicely now. For now, I'd prefer a GPU that gives me solid results in 1080p without needing big changes. Thanks for the insights!
The 1080p/60 setup remains quite powerful. It wouldn’t be worth the effort considering how costly components are right now.
