Hello everyone, I've been using my computer for almost three years now and have done several upgrades. It looks like the most recent change was to the CPU. I'm also wondering if my system might be limited because of a weak CPU. Since I play a lot, especially gaming, and I'm heading to college this summer, I want to finish some upgrades before I leave. I haven't noticed a big drop in performance yet, but I think I can get more out of my machine. My MOBO is also not very good (it's a B85), so maybe it could be upgraded too.

Here is my build:

Thanks in advance!

It remains a strong CPU and works well alongside a 1070.

It's understandable wanting a higher resolution, but there are many supporters of the current setup.

It remains a strong CPU and still offers good pairing even with a 1070. ARICH5:
You could go up to 1080p, right? Why are so many fans using a locked CPU?
I actually did. Sorry, I didn’t refresh my list. It’s now updated.

Is the 4x4 RAM you're considering a quad-channel kit, and does the PCMate support it? (not a tech expert)
