I doubt you'd manage to get your PS4 for $300, but if you could, go for it. You might be able to assemble a solid entry-level PC with that amount, particularly around $600.

I’d recommend $200 for a PS4, since it’s already in use unless it includes many games, which could raise the price to $300.

You need more than $300 to get a PS4 unless you include several games and controllers. Sadly, it's not that simple.

Keep in mind you already own games for the PS4; you'd need to purchase them again for PC. I wouldn't invest in a gaming PC unless I had at least $700, which is the bare minimum. With $800-900, you'd get a decent 1080p or 1440p gaming setup.

If you manage to secure $300 then a $600 system would be a solid choice, suitable for most titles rather than pushing for 4K 60fps. I support this view, though, and agree with the others—you’d likely need an additional $100 to $200 for games unless you’re focused on free-to-play content, which does cover some quality experiences. Path of Exile comes to mind right away.

No, since the PS4 exclusive isn't available on PC, I recommend sticking with it.
The title resembles Last of Us 2, which might be the sole reason to maintain the system.
