Hello, I just received my new Tomahawk Max but haven’t had a chance to test it yet since I haven’t received my CPU. I’m worried the seller might have sent a used or damaged unit, but I’m not sure because this is my first PC build. I’ve attached photos and a video of the product. Could you let me know if there’s an issue? Top of SATA connectors look a bit damaged, possibly from shipping. Video of the motherboard is available here: https://streamable.com/qw1kjx

I haven’t examined my recent buys with the same level of detail you do, but they don’t seem particularly fresh.

Can't determine the issue with those images. Appears clear to me.

It could be due to the fact that sellers in your area don<|pad|>, aren't motivated to offer refunds for returned items.

I possess a worn-out X370 motherboard left open and exposed for a year, with only dust present—no signs of scuff marks or liquid residue like yours.

It seems something was applied and then allowed to dry.

Isn't it unusual? Are there steps to apply spray during motherboard manufacturing? Do you have any ideas?

If it's in the second hand, there might be dried alcohol stains.
