Im currently located In India, Bangalore to be exact, and this mouse I purchased back in Saudi Arabia, it was cheap and gaming wasn't in my mind when I bought this, and I've been using it for 4 years , give or take some, cause I have a vague remembrance of when I bought it.
And as for the mouse, Im currently having the corsair katar pro on my wishlist, cause of its dpi and value for money, (12.4k DPI and priced roughly at 22$ here, which is 1698rs in my currency). but yeah, before i buy that, i just want to know whether its worth upgrading or staying with the current one.

I own a pair of Logitech G305s. They serve as gaming mice, yet they are compact, wireless, and affordable compared to premium options. I use one at work and another for everyday computing at home. I’ve thought about upgrading to a dedicated gaming mouse for better performance versus my current steel series model.
I’ve only experienced high DPS benefits once; the sensor works well, but a more balanced DPI offers finer control. At very high settings, it’s easy to miss your target. The G305 adjusts quickly between 400, 800, 1600, and 3200 DPI. I set it to 3200.
My previous steel series model is programmable and onboard, which is unusual, but it reportedly had a maximum DPI of 5700, though the software might have increased sensitivity beyond that.
