I have two configurations:
14900K + Be Quiet! Shadow Base 800 FX (Max GPU length: 430mm)
13600K + GTX 1080 + Cougar MX410 Mesh (Max GPU length: 300mm)
I plan to upgrade to an RTX 5070 for my 14900K build, then swap it with an RTX 6070 in 2027. Later, I’ll replace the GTX 1080 in my 13600K with the remaining RTX 5070.
I’m only looking at MSI and Gigabyte options.
The issue is that most MSI/Gigabyte RTX 5070s are longer than 300mm. Should I suggest a SFF RTX 5070 or one with dual fans?

I believe you're being too cautious. Just get a GPU that fits your setup, and planning two years ahead won't really matter.

I'm worried that using smaller GPUs might affect the performance of SFF or dual fan 5070s...

the dual fans appear to be more affordable. i believe the main variation lies in the noise level, which is expected to rise compared to the three units. since all cards are costly, this difference isn't too significant.

Certain cards have a single fan, which increases its effort or speed. Therefore, three is preferable over one or two. If heat management is important, look for a card that excels in that area.

They haven't been released yet.
The price might not be appealing when they finally arrive.
It's likely they'll be sold at a discounted rate, similar to the rest of the 50-series.
