Hey everyone! Here is my desktop: a Ryzen 5 3600, Intel 660P M2 2280, one TB of RAM, an RX 5700 with 8GB GDDR6 memory on two sticks of DDR4. Should I switch to Windows 11? It runs great on Windows 10 right now. Does upgrading to Windows 11 make a real difference for me?

What motherboard do I need? I bought that CPU two months ago and have been running on Windows 11 for the last three years. Water cooling is working great, but it's your call: you can probably install Windows 11 right now. Win 11 looks just like Windows 10, so there isn't much difference in performance or functionality beyond how it feels. Since it's not a big deal to upgrade anyway, you don't need to worry about skipping this step just for fear of breaking something later on. It's time to move up soon or at some point.

Mom: Setting up my new MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi card was super easy! I'm wondering if this upgrade gives me a real benefit or if I should keep using Windows 10.

It's hard to compare things right now: https://www.techbuyer.com/us/blog/window...windows-10 Windows 11 vs. Windows 10: Is it finally time to switch? Windows 11 is the newest version of Windows, and it is one of the best versions ever made. It builds on its older parents like Windows 10, but today it feels very much like a new system with a fresh look, cool features, and the safest and most stable platform for modern computers. www.digitaltrends.com Windows 11 Advantages, Disadvantages and differences over Windows 10? - Computer Troubleshooters Australia Both Windows 10 and 11 are really good operating systems that have many similarities, but there are some big differences you need to know about. For instance, the latest version, Windows 11, has a new and improved design with easier navigation – not just that. The last article we looked at was old, so some of the bad things listed for win 11 have already been fixed. It is much easier to set default apps now, even though they try hard to make you switch from Edge without warning. Defender is also better too, according to what I've heard. upgrading to windows 11 was just like any other Windows update. I haven't had any bad effects from using it yet.
