Should i overclock?
I believe choosing 4 ghz won't be harmful, as I've found that 212 MHz is suitable for up to 4.5 ghz.

I believe going for 4 GHz won't cause any issues since I've found that 212 MHz is suitable up to 4.5 GHz. Yes, even 4.2. Just keep in mind you're doing this out of curiosity, not for any advantage in gaming. Got it. Thanks a lot.
Successfully reached 4.3ghz with ASUS Suite III. It's been stable so far, and the maximum temperature stayed under 65°C during a 15-minute gaming session in GTA V. This looks good.
Did you perform the manual OC with the multiplier, or use the Asus software for the software OC?
Karadjgne asked about the method used for manual OC—whether it was a manual process or a software-based approach with ASUS software. He mentioned using the ASUS suite III, which identifies hardware and finds the most stable OC before crashes, also managing fans.
GlenMicallef:
Achieved 4.3ghz with ASUS Suite III. Remains stable and maintains max temperature of 65°C during maximum load while playing GTA V for 15 minutes. This is fine, as long as it stays under or at 70°C under load. Thanks!
