Hello, I own an Intel i8 that I've used for more than four years. I'm curious—should I consider overclocking it?

No information about the i8 CPU was found. Please specify an i7 model. Additionally, share your motherboard details and CPU cooler type.

There isn't an actual Core i8 processor. When referring to Core i7 or Core 9, it varies based on the motherboard, CPU, and cooler you're using.

It should be an i7 8700k processor. You have an Asus ROG Strix Z390-E motherboard with a Master Hyper 212 cooler.

Back then there wasn't an i9, so it would have been an i7 or possibly the eighth generation.

You're certain? It's been over four years since you started using it. The 8700k is three years old.

The 212 evo allows minor performance boosts, but I don’t suggest pushing it too high. How are your temperatures currently?
