consider overclocking if you're ready. It requires time, effort, and a bit of trial and error. The performance boost from going from 3000 to 3200 isn't massive, but it's doable. Just keep dram under 1.45 and soc under 1.2—though success isn't guaranteed, it shouldn't be too difficult.

Reset the BIOS by removing the battery from the motherboard. Leave it idle without the power cable in the PSU for a while. This will return it to the default configuration.
