I currently have an AMD Athlon II X2 220 that I've recently overclocked up to 3.3 GHz. There have not been any visible problems and my CM Hyper TX3 is keeping it cool not even on full blast. The next step up is to 3.5 GHz Should I give it a shot? BTW I have a CX 430 watt and my oc'ing so far hasn't shown any power issues.

Why not if the temperatures are favorable? In fact, I haven't checked the temperature. What I know is that my BIOS sets the target CPU temperature at 50°C and the fan speed remains constant, which suggests it hasn't exceeded that level. I purchased the Hyper TX3 with future upgrades in mind, so it's a bit more than what's needed for my processor right now.
