I purchased it but ended up feeling a bit disappointed. It seemed nice at first, and the movement wasn’t too excessive. Well, maybe I should have waited until the official launch instead.

It depends, my suggestion is to purchase the game only if it aligns with your interests today. Consider these four points before deciding—they’re the most important. The game has a strong beginning, but it’s just the start. There’s plenty of enjoyment, yet many features are still being developed and bugs remain numerous. Are you comfortable with the current issues? - Even on top-tier systems there are reports of poor performance. Are you satisfied with the bugs? - Some are amusing, others are annoying, but they’re common right now. - Do you like competitive space combat? - The arena mode is the most refined and complete part so far. It works well independently. Racing is less mature because only one map exists, though it can still be entertaining. Would you like to wander through space and explore? The Crusader in the Stanton System is a great experience right now, giving me around 10 frames per second while I’m flying above and landing on ships below. This section is currently the most problematic (which makes sense given its recent release).

I don’t support purchasing incomplete games. Wait for a fully released product—like a non-beta or alpha version—and avoid paying until then.

I purchased Elite a few weeks back. Regarding Star Citizen, if I invest my money, I plan to hold off until there’s a solid indication of a meaningful launch.
