Hey there! It's a good question about Elite Dangerous. The game is known for its deep, complex mechanics and a challenging experience, which means it leans more toward hardcore gamers. However, there are players who enjoy its immersive world and exploration despite not being ultra hardcore. If you're curious, it might be worth checking out a demo or talking to others who have tried it.

It presents a challenge due to its size and depth, offering a solid game but missing key features at the moment. While it has a dedicated player base and some friends who appreciate it, recommendations are tough because meaningful activities are scarce. Mostly revolves around maximizing profit by upgrading ships and completing random missions. There’s no story or narrative, which adds to its appeal for some. If you have time for yourself—listening to music or enjoying quiet moments—it’s a great choice. There will be ample space for that later.

I don’t mind spending time exploring or storytelling in a game. Elite Dangerous offers plenty of action and has a strong focus on immersion. Getting used to it usually takes some time, but once you do, you can dive in quickly.

Or a kilometer wide and a centimeter deep for those using the metric system (: I don’t know why I mentioned that I’m just joking, @OP. It seems the learning curve is pretty steep in the first few hours, but most people say it’s really useful. I haven’t played it—I’m more interested in what Star Citizen will become, which is a bit more intense).

It shares a similar feel to Euro Truck Simulator. If you like that vibe, you'll probably enjoy EBig Grin as well. The battles are quite exciting. However, others have noted that currently there aren't many options available. Still, the parts you can do are quite satisfying.

It seems the focus is on needing speed in forza motor sport. It resembles a simulation more than a star citizen experience. Early gameplay can be tough due to limited resources and ship capabilities, but you can enter warzones, target specific enemies, and earn rewards for each kill. A reputation system is also in place to track which faction you're targeting.
