Should I get Battlefield V?
Should I get Battlefield V?
Battlefield 5 multiplayer doesn't seem appealing to me at all, and I believe singleplayer is even worse.
For a battle royale experience, it's better to try Black Ops 4, Counter Strike:GO, Ring of Elysium, and Fortnite.
Well, do you enjoy COD? Especially the latest titles? I tried Blackout and found it enjoyable, though I'm not sure if it's worth buying for me. The regular multiplayer feels too chaotic and fast. I really like the slower-paced older COD games.
Looking for a WWII-themed title with big maps that can be destroyed, similar to BFV but with comparable quality?
I bought BF1 soon after its release and couldn't access the multiplayer mode. I only played as much as I could because I was playing with friends, but I generally had a strong dislike for it. I preferred the other BF games. I'd even choose Hardline over BF1 anytime.
I only tried the beta of BFV and from that experience I liked it more than BF1. I actually enjoyed it, especially when playing solo. I haven't picked it up yet because I've been busy with other games, but I think it's better than BF1 based on the small beta I played.
Many people believe the game's bad reputation comes from poor marketing and EA/DICE trying to add modern politics into a WWII setting.
BFV is full of cheaters these days, and Dice doesn’t seem to care much. Some people openly admit they’re cheating and have been doing so for months without facing consequences. There are also the numerous bugs that appear to be exclusive to PCs, which makes Dice seem indifferent—only console-related issues get noticed. I really enjoy BFV when it runs smoothly and no cheaters are involved, but that’s uncommon. Right now, I’d prefer a console version if it exists at all.
