The visuals would remain consistent regardless of the graphics card or display resolution. Since @Suffokation was limited to 40fps anyway, I believe a standard PS2 and CRT TV would provide a smoother experience. You could still give it a try just for fun.

I could achieve 144 FPS when using PS2 settings, but that isn't possible in this case.
