You have a lot of PS2 games scattered around and your console is sitting unused on the TV stand. Is copying those games a smart move? Are you allowed to play them? And do you have a system strong enough since emulators can really use up resources?

It’s fully compliant as long as you create ISOs of your discs instead of downloading them, and you remove the BIOS from your PS2 through modification. That’s the current situation.

PS2 emulation is approximately 150% legal and secure when using your own PS2 BIOS on PCSX2. I run a few titles, achieving around 40 FPS in most cases.
