I rely solely on my system for gaming, which is why I chose the 9700k. I’m wondering if the new 10th generation might be an improvement. I don’t know when it will be released.

He’s probably going for a Ryzen 3000 or 4000 because AMD is currently outcompeting Intel in price. Are you sure your screen supports 240Hz?

I was planning to install a 2080 graphics card to match my CPU. It's interesting to see how it would compare to my current 8400 setup right now. I'm currently streaming at 1440p with 165hz.
