I’d appreciate more details, but using Windows 7 on a daily device isn’t practical or secure.

i mean 7 is better than 11 but you lose support for everything... W7 doesn't support DX12, and a ton of other stuff like that that you wouldn't think of. No clue what prompted the question but the only reason to use W7 is the same as people still building and using windows 2000 or DOS. you want to run era appropriate software that doesn't work quite right on current windows.
