Did you discover any handy shortcuts in Windows that really made a difference? I’m curious to know if there are any useful tricks you found helpful. When you first learned about the shift tab and the Windows button, they proved to be game-changers.

Using Shift+Print Screen on Windows plus Shift+S works well. It lets you choose exactly which screen area appears in your clipboard, similar to a snip tool. I saved this method as a default with AutoHotkey after finding it very useful. If not, Ctrl+Shift+T is an alternative, though it’s more of a browser shortcut than a standard Windows key combination. Edited August 22, 2018 by Minibois Whoops, the mentioned shortcut was incorrect.

I didn’t realize the print screen feature copies the image to the clipboard. I thought the Windows button and the print screen save a screenshot, but shifting print screen didn’t help. However, I found that using the Windows button along with shift performs the same action.

Shoot, sorry. I meant that indeed.. It has been quite a while since I set up that shortcut, I didn't even remember it off the top of my head. How I did this in the past was just pressing Print screen, pasting it in paint, selecting what I want to have copied and just pasting that where ever or uploading it.. etc.

There are numerous keyboard shortcuts that assist in reducing reliance on the mouse and touchpad. These keys can handle a wide range of tasks performed with a touchpad. With so many options available, learning each one can be helpful. For more details, check out my blog at http://shortkeys.top
