You're considering switching from a 32GB to a 16GB kit for better RAM compatibility with your current build. For short RGB modules, the Vengeance Pro SL (44mm) and HyperX Beast RGB (41mm) are popular options. There might be other lesser-known kits you haven't discovered yet. Aiming for 3600MHz with low latency sounds good, though you're not a power user so speed differences may not be noticeable.

I understood you realize you don’t require that much capacity. What else do you want to know about your specifications?

I purchased it assuming I might require it occasionally, but in reality, my daily tasks rarely push beyond 10GB usage. The light gaming, Adobe work, and Blender projects don’t demand much memory. My system setup includes a Tuf X570 Pro with Wi-Fi, a Ryzen 7 5800X, an NH-D15 with two 16GB NVMe drives at 3600MHz DDR4, a GTX 1060, six GB of RAM, and a 512GB M.2 SSD plus a standard SATA drive for gaming. The PSU is rated at 750W.

If the rams are gonna be blocked by the cooler then why even bother? Also massive aircoolers tend to not look very good (esp a regular non chromax d15) so seems abit odd to downgrade due to aesthetics when the cooler is prob ruining aesthetics too Imo just keep 32gb cause you never know if youll need it in the future, itll be useless now but it may be useful later

It might be better to keep it as is. You're unsure if you really need it, but if you do, you'll be glad you didn't lower its value.

It seems the system is utilizing more than 10GB of RAM, yet you’re still considering upgrading to at least 32GB. The advantages of Dual Channel, Dual Rank, and future-proofing are worth noting. With a Ryzen 7 5800X, that setup would be ideal.

No, I'm not using a 2x 16gb kit at the moment.

I’m using two 16GB 3600MHz CL18 sticks right now. Back then I thought dual RAM would be quicker than four, but after learning about overclocking memory, I realized it really comes down to how the RAM slots connect to the CPU. Everyone seems to be on the same page, so maybe I should look for another spot in my PC to add more sticks.

It's a Chromax, I just didn't mention it. I really think it has a great look and I'm a big fan (ha). Even though the RGB might be hidden by the fan, I imagine the glow would still stand out enough to be impressive. I initially designed the build in black and white, but after some changes, most parts except the GPU and RAM are now black. It's just a small detail, but I really enjoy how it looks and am aiming for perfection.
