Hi, during my PC cleaning I left the Display port cable unplugged from the GPU. When I powered it on it produced five beeps then a short success tone. After quickly reconnecting the DP cable I was prompted to log in with Windows. Why those five beeps? The GPU seemed connected via motherboard and power, but I forgot the DP cable. Can the BIOS check if the GPU has any device attached to its I/O ports and alert me about the missing connection? My GPU is an MSI 6600XT and CPU is an Intel Core i5-3600.

Another user found a comparable post on another Asrock forum. It appears Asrock sometimes reports errors when the GPU/iGPU fails to recognize I/O ports. This is likely a typical issue.
