If it isn’t available and there’s nothing in the original folder, you can simply remove it from the Steam client to access that feature. There’s nothing there, so the uninstall should work right away.

After removing it, make sure Steam doesn’t recognize the old folder. Then select 'Install' and set your new location for the game files. Steam will begin finding the existing ones automatically without any downloads needed.

It can be frustrating when things don’t go smoothly. I chose to set up most of them on my large RAID 0 storage, but after reinstalling the operating system, they still link to my Steam library. I hope future setups would be even easier to manage.

You can create backup files and install from them. It may be time-consuming with a big library, but it's secure and effective.
