I just purchased an Asus Transformer Book T100ta with a 32GB SSD and a 500GB HDD. The SSD with Windows 8.1 is set as the primary C drive. I need to switch it so the SSD becomes the default D drive and the HDD becomes the default C drive. Could you guide me through the process? Thank you!

You shouldn't do that... Why? The SSD is significantly quicker than the HDD. That's what it was designed for. Keep it like this.

I understand the SSD is quicker, which is why I’m removing the operating system from it. However, it lacks storage capacity, so I want the HDD as my primary drive.

You can't do that, (I'm lying) Whenever you install something or download and save, just click the browse button for the D drive, install everything there—photos, movies, music, games, etc.—you handle it manually, right?

Windows operates using the C drive. He can also adjust the positions of the Downloads, Documents, etc. directories.

You may adjust settings within the computer management under disk list management, though it’s better to keep things as they are and store data on the HDD. For example, you can redirect your desktop or download folders to the HDD to free up space on the SSD.

You can ask for step-by-step guidance, focusing on simple actions. Just tell me what you're trying to do and I'll explain it clearly.

Also, for Steam games and similar titles, I recommend moving them to the HDD to keep the SSD space open, though it won’t affect how well the game runs.
