Suggest saving 200gb first, then move the rest. There’s no need to try a 400gb network move if a physical transfer is possible. If both machines have Ethernet connections, that could be the optimal choice.

If it's USB, just copy what you need. After reaching 300GB, copy a few more games and then the rest... simple. Still confused about the issue. The games are in the Steam > Steamapps folder.
