I own a folder or drive that I share across my network so I can reach them on my laptop, phone, or TV to stream videos and photos. I’ve configured my modern device to use the same internal IP address on my main PC, so it stays consistent even after I power off my computer. The issue appears to be that after a reboot, the drive/folder isn’t automatically set up for sharing again. In Windows 8.1 I never encountered this problem. Would it help if you looked into other tools that can handle this automatically?
