I achieved 29.8 once. Using pistols seems to be the quickest method. The world record is around 18 seconds.

Would you like to know these details if I'm comparing with you? I plan to test Bizon too just to see, then move on to M4, Tec-9 and zoom rifles.
I don’t compete, I’m not sure. About 28 hours on Steam, that feels pretty brief compared to what I’ve done so far.

We finished with a 29:0 win using the AK. It wasn't the first attempt, but around the 7th round. I'm puzzled about how pistols could be quicker than the AK—it seems like one-tap HS is the only option. You'd need to manage reloads while moving, otherwise it wouldn't work. I think I'll give it a shot.
