I enjoy shadow play a lot, but the main issue is that during Skype or Teamspeak calls it doesn’t record my friends—it only lets me hear myself and the game. Please let me know if this affects your setup. Your specs sound solid though!

Likely due to the setup. You might have to include an additional audio device or route VOIP sound via another unit. Game Capture doesn't capture desktop audio on its own.
