I face the same issue as that person I attempted to reinstall GPU drivers—every time I tried, the game ran perfectly. Any advice would be appreciated! Edit: I can play normally with keyboard and mouse, but moving the mouse causes the picture to freeze briefly and FPS drops to zero before returning to normal.

It could be VSync. SoM is the only game I have that gets damaged by it; turn it off, accept a bit of lag, and appreciate the smooth feel.

The issue isn't related to a slow mouse; the game ran well before, and I achieved around 40% smooth performance. It only occurs when trying to move the mouse. No further action needed.

this lag leads to the framedrops effect. when frames drop below 59, the mouse issue appears. this happens sometimes, but not always. with frame rates around 58 or 57, the mouse moves quickly, making sensitivity feel high. you can ease it by lowering graphics settings or upgrading to a new GPU like nvidia 770 and above, or r9 285 and above.

The issue isn't the frame rate drop; I reduced the settings to the minimum and my R9 280X still reaches only about 65% with stable 100 FPS, and the lag remains.

Well, you're asking about the delay between your actions and the response in the game. For instance, when you click your mouse, it takes a few seconds before it moves within the game.

DPI has been raised to 3200. The mouse feels quicker, but performance drops in certain areas like the Great Graug match, requiring a 10000dpi model just to navigate the cursor.

I function properly with keyboard and mouse controls, yet the mouse movement causes the picture to pause briefly followed by a complete loss of frames before returning to normal.
