I'm testing the game at 1400p with vibrant shaders enabled. I see performance between 60-90 FPS depending on environment. My partner maintains around 500 FPS on a 3600x display, while I'm at 1660. My GPU specs are 8600k at 4.7 GHz and 2080 at 1950 MHz. The render distance in-game is set to 12 units.
Absolutely, if it's delivering 500 FPS then shaders aren't the main issue.
