I executed sfc /scannow and it reported corrupt files but didn’t repair them. I ran it just once. I used both Dism/ Restorehealth and Dism/ Checkhealth, but neither resolved the issue. It only mentioned the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool with no progress details. Was there a need to wait longer? Could the problem be related to a driver, or is sfc /scannow limited to Windows files only? Anyone has advice on how to proceed? I’m currently away and won’t test until about a week from now. Thanks in advance.

I encountered the same issue too! A simple solution is available—download Windows 10.

You're asking for clarification. Do you want to restart and then run the SFC/SCAN tool again?

Just confirming stability first before proceeding.

It's reliable, aside from the terrible Nvidia drivers

The issue lies with the drivers.

others faced installation issues and crashes with the device. I haven’t verified it thoroughly. The Sfc feature didn’t function, so I ran a dsim scan and searched online for commands. Still, my system didn’t respond, leading me to upgrade. A clean install of version 8.1 might be the best option.

The Nvidia driver didn't function initially, and I'm uncertain if the installer works correctly. You need to use DDU to remove drivers after setting up Windows 10, then reinstall the new Nvidia driver. Even after doing this, my driver failed again the following day, requiring me to repeat the steps.
