Hi,
I'm setting up a gaming PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Waterforce.
Do I need a Corsair SF750 or should I upgrade to a Corsair SF1000?
Please consider two scenarios:
1. No overclocking,
2. With overclocking.

There is no drawback to a 1000w psu except for the price.
It will only utilize the power it needs and will operate quieter and more efficiently in the middle of its capacity.
Extra power can better manage peak loads and support future GPU upgrades.
During overclocking, whether for CPU or GPU, performance gains are usually limited because components are grouped.
If a component had sufficient overclocking room, it would have been included in a pricier version.
The RTX 3000 line faced problems with sudden load spikes; recommend considering a 1.2KW model or a well-built one. Check the video for more details. Determine if your GPU uses a custom waterblock or an AIO cooler, and choose the SF1000 if only those options are available.
