After numerous online searches, I've been searching for a suitable motherboard and CPU setup. I'm seeking a combination that supports 3 DualSli processors on a single board, with options like x16/x8/x8/x8/x8/x8 or x8/x8/x8/x8/x8/x8. All components must run at least x8 performance.

I don't believe this will happen. What are your intentions? For such high GPU demands, a Quadro or similar might offer better value over time.

There are many server and workstation boards available, such as the Asus WS line Pro WS WRX80E-SAGE. However, software limitations exist, requiring single-slot cards or a 4U GPU server. Could you clarify the type of workloads you're running?

There are 48 lanes available—consider using either Threadripper or Xeon-W. Raisers can work too. It’s possible to use raisers effectively. I assume those who ask about these configurations aren’t beginners and aren’t planning to run games, but instead have particular software needs in mind (though the reference to SLI raises some concerns).

For a mining rig running on a 3060, this chip delivers top returns among current options while balancing power use. Problems with achieving maximum hash speed are limited to the x8 configuration.

You're not after SLI options. From what I understand, the only 3xx devices that genuinely support SLI are the 3090 models. Pairing GPUs won't provide a practical solution. The most affordable approach would involve using several used Optiplex units and then finding a way to upgrade the power supply to accommodate the 3060s. Otherwise, you'd need a motherboard priced around $1000, paired with an appropriate CPU and riser cards to fit all the GPUs. This setup would require six of these boards, with the cheapest CPU listed here. https://www.techpowerup.com/cpu-specs/ry...45wx.c2317 The Intel 10900X offers 48 lanes, but there aren't enough for a boot drive. The 9900x provides 44 lanes.

This board works fine, but a dual 3090 rig would be more suitable for a simpler CPU configuration.
