I’m feeling restless and decided to play more video games, specifically considering returning to Fortnite. Despite achieving 100 frames per second on high settings using a GTX1050 and FX4300 CPU, I experience significant frame rate dips. My RAM usage spikes to 75% and my hard drive hits 95%, resulting in my FPS plummeting every second to around 5 – it’s completely unplayable due to the extreme lag fluctuations. Do you have any suggestions?

The current setup is extremely old, and a GTX 1050 is a basic graphics card for gaming, which explains why.

The system is quite obsolete, and the GTX 1050 is a basic gaming card, so I wasn't shocked. My issue isn’t with my equipment; rather, the game is consuming excessive memory, and my older GT710 could handle it at low settings without any performance problems.
