Several problems with Windows 11 are making my day really tough.
New Intel i9 13th Gen processor, Gigabyte z790 Master, Corsair i150 AIO cooler, RTX 2070 Super. In Device Manager I see one unknown device listed under Hardware IDs: ACPI\VEN_INTC&DEV_1085, ACPI\INTC1085 *INTC1085 and below system devices. There are two Resource Hub proxy entries: ACPI\VEN_MSFT&DEV_8000 (MSFT8000) and ACPI\VEN_MSFT&DEV_8000 (MSFT8000). I removed all external USB devices; the only other connections are the Corsair iCUE Commander Core XT and the AIO cooler with ICue. Any assistance would be very much appreciated. Thank you!
Seems to be Intel software for certain devices. https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/.../home.html
The issue appears to stem from Gigabyte providing an older version of the Intel Serial IO Drivers with their motherboards. This version also matches the latest download available on their support site at the time. The Intel website doesn't offer much guidance either. With more outsourcing to the motherboard manufacturers, the drivers available are often not up-to-date. Eventually, I removed the Unknown Device and two Resource HUB proxy errors from the device manager settings. All I needed to do was download the newest Intel Serial IO Driver from an ASUS Z790 support page. The version that functioned for me was V30.100.2221.20. Just unpack the driver package and use the unbranded SetupSerialIO.exe found in one of the extracted folders.
That also helped me. Appreciate you solving that for me. I even attempted the Elite Motherboard version using a Gigabyte driver, but nothing came through... Intel_Serial_IO_V30_100_2221.20_WIN10_WIN11_64-bit.zip
