Several problems have arisen with some versions of Crysis 3.
I've encountered a persistent problem in Crysis 3. The game loads and runs smoothly, but after about 5 to 10 minutes of play the screen goes black and the monitor displays "No Signal." At that stage I can only power off the PC by pressing the power button until it stops, which isn't ideal for my system. This issue is noted on my parts list: EVGA 600 Watt PSU, AMD FX-8350, Sentey GS-6008, EVGA GTX 970, ASRock 980DE3/U3S3, 8 GB random RAM, Samsung 850 EVO 120GB SSD, and a 1 TB Seagate hard drive. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
It seems like your system is running hot, similar to a GPU or CPU overheating. Can you check the temperatures with a monitoring tool?
But can it play Crysis 3? The black screen warns your PC, possibly due to overheating or a display driver issue.
GPU overheats and stops working. Check GPU-Z and run a benchmark such as Valley, Heaven or Furmark to monitor temperatures.
The CPU appears to be working well, likely the GPU is the issue, and the airflow isn't ideal for it.
Poor ventilation may be the issue, though it often requires more than ten minutes to resolve—inspect the cooler.
